February Kit is up at Kit 'n' Kaboodles!

I just loved this kit! Gerri-anne does an AMAZING job of mixing product to make a fabulous kit!

New Years Eve and some challenges......

Although we were supposed to go party hopping, we got to our first party and stayed. We have been spending New Year's Eve with this group of friends for a while...there are 4 core couples, and although others are invited and attend, the four of us always take a group picture.

That is Lisa, me, Leslie and Cheri. I love these women!

Delaney was the hit of the party...the older girls kept dressing her in outfits and she would parade around. That girl doesn't have a shy bone in her body. She takes after her father's side of the family....:)

Christmas 2008

This will be a photo heavy post....just warning you!

We had a great Christmas...Evan made out like a bandit. He got an Apple computer, an electric guitar...and various other things. Kendall got tickets to Wicked, and a new chair for her room...Kiley got a new camera, and ice skates, clothes, and art supplies, as well as books. Delaney got clothes fit for a teenager (she's 6) the coveted Bendaroos, and finally her own DS...as well as all the art supplies that she loves and I hate to clean up. The kids also got a group gift...the much anticipated Wii, as well as many games. We had both families over for brunch, and our menu was the best ever. I just love Christmas. Especially this Christmas, as my parents gave me the gift I really wanted...a Canon Rebel Xsi 12.2 megapixel SLR camera.

So...now pictures...the first ones are from my old rebel (who will now be living at my friend Connie Tjarksen's house!):

Delaney and those Bendaroos. She wanted them SO much, and never touched them the whole day. Typical Delaney.

My new camera had to charge, because the batteries are different, so I just did some random shots around the house. I love everything about this camera! I can shoot in monochromatic, LOVE that (see the last picture!) So...here is my house at Christmastime..

I have 2 projects finished that I will post on Sunday....and more after Christmas. I had a chance to work today, as my kids had a snow day...instead of their holiday parties at school. It is kind of a let down, though, because Delaney's party is not being rescheduled, and she is my last kindergartener. They will still make candy houses, and exchange gifts, but not the fun Christmas party that a kindergartner should have :(

CHA is coming closer, and the sneak peeks have started! I am going out there with a bunch of good friends from A Cherry On Top...I can't wait!!! Anaheim will never be the same :) Poor Lance from Rusty Pickle is going to have Sus and I in a class right away at 7 am. I may have to bring gifts :)
